9th Circ. Rebuffs Ariz.'s Challenge To $600M Casino Project

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 10:01 PM EDT) -- A divided Ninth Circuit gave a boost Tuesday to an Indian tribe's controversial plan to build a $600 million Las Vegas-style casino, ruling that the land for the project can effectively be part of the tribe's reservation even though it is completely surrounded by an Arizona city.
