Law360, Houston (October 1, 2012, 6:40 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday denied a bid by Merscorp Inc. and Bank of America NA to pare down a putative class action, finding claims that the companies broke the law by filing fraudulent mortgage records to avoid county filing fees were specific enough to survive dismissal.
