Google Asks 2nd Circ. To Ax Class In Book-Scanning Case

Law360, New York (November 16, 2012, 6:57 PM EST) -- A copyright suit over Google Inc.'s plan to digitize millions of books should not proceed as a class action because the court must decide whether Google's scanning of each individual book is fair use, the search giant recently told the Second Circuit.
