Ex-Owner, Texas Rangers Agree To Settle RE Projects Row

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 11:44 PM EST) -- Former Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks on Monday agreed to settle a dispute with the formerly bankrupt baseball club's administrator over Hicks' alleged use of the team's money to build parking lots owned by his company near the club's Arlington, Texas, ballpark.

Hicks, the Rangers and court-approved administrator Alan M. Jacobs filed a joint motion in the 116th District Court in Dallas County asking to delay the trial date — currently set for Dec. 3 — and other deadlines because they have reached a preliminary settlement....
