Antitrust Suits Against Priceline, Hilton, Others Combined

Law360, New York (December 12, 2012, 2:12 PM EST) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation created a new MDL in Texas on Tuesday to handle allegations that online travel sites like Expedia Inc. and Inc. colluded with hotel companies including Marriott International Inc. and Hilton Worldwide Inc.

The JPML consolidated two lawsuits and more than twenty potential tag-along cases in the Northern District of Texas under the name In re: Online Travel Company Hotel Book Antitrust Litigation, centralizing claims that Expedia and Priceline conspired with the hotels to deceive consumers, fix room prices...
