Lakers Fan Sent 1st Text, Team Says In Bid To Nix TCPA Suit

Law360, New York (February 26, 2013, 8:05 PM EST) -- The Los Angeles Lakers urged a California federal judge on Monday to throw out a putative class action accusing the National Basketball Association franchise of sending unsolicited text messages, arguing that the team was legally responding to texts sent by the ticket holder plaintiff.
