Delta Unveils $229M Makeover Of LA International Terminal

Law360, Los Angeles (April 4, 2013, 8:37 PM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines and the city of Los Angeles on Thursday announced a $229 million revamp of the carrier's terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, saying the project is an “important milestone” in the continuing modernization of the world's sixth-busiest airport.

The reconstruction of Delta's Terminal 5 will, among other things, include doubling the size of the ticketing lobby and federal security screening checkpoints, adding a private VIP check-in lobby, and renovation of the lounge facilities in the Delta Sky Club. In addition, 15 new restaurants...
