Amazon Says Bookstores Haven't Alleged E-Book Collusion

Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Amazon Inc. struck back Thursday against claims in New York federal court that the retailer's agreements with major publishers have kept small bookstores out of the e-book market, saying a putative class of independent booksellers has failed to allege a viable antitrust conspiracy.
