Atlanta Falcons Clinch $200M NFL Loan For New Stadium

Law360, New York (May 21, 2013, 1:05 PM EDT) -- The Atlanta Falcons have secured a $200 million loan from the National Football League to help fund a new $1 billion stadium, Falcons owner Arthur Blank announced at the league's spring meetings Tuesday.

Blank said the vote by the league's 32 owners to approve the stadium loan is an important milestone for the blockbuster stadium project.

"We are pleased with the outcome of today’s vote, and we look forward to continued progress in designing and constructing the new multi-purpose stadium," he said in a statement released...
