LA Council Pushes Forward Convention Center Deal With AEG

Law360, New York (October 10, 2013, 3:29 PM EDT) -- The Los Angeles City Council on Wednesday rubber-stamped a deal that turns over management of the city's convention center to Anschutz Entertainment Group, which is also building a $1.2 billion football stadium and entertainment complex nearby.

In a unanimous vote, council members approved a report from the budget and finance committee and also filed a report from the economic development committee.
