Japan Attacks Ruling In LCD Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, Washington (October 31, 2013, 7:33 PM EDT) -- The government of Japan asked an Illinois federal judge on Thursday to reconsider a 2012 summary judgment ruling allowing Motorola Mobility Inc. to to pursue U.S. antitrust claims against a slew of liquid crystal display makers based on purchases of LCD panels by its foreign subsidiaries, saying it violated Japanese sovereignty.
