Braves To Pay For More Than Half Of $672M New Stadium

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 2:51 PM EST) -- The Atlanta Braves on Thursday said that they will contribute $372 million to pay for their new $672 million stadium in Cobb County, with the rest to come from the public.

The Braves will pay $280 million up front. The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority will issue a $368 million revenue bond, of which the Braves will cover $92 million over 30 years from their yearly income and the county will pay the rest.
