Comcast, Flyers Settle Ticket Holders' Winter Classic Suit

Law360, Chicago (December 12, 2013, 7:28 PM EST) -- Comcast Spectacor LP, owner of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, has settled a proposed class action accusing it of deceiving season ticket holders, offering up to $1.1 million in vouchers to affected fans, according to documents filed Thursday in New Jersey federal court.

The settlement will resolve allegations that the Flyers unfairly excluded tickets to the team’s outdoor Winter Classic game against the New York Rangers from season ticket packages in 2012, according to a motion seeking preliminary approval of the deal.
