Investors Slam Proposed $1.3B Sale Of Chuck E. Cheese's

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 4:39 PM EST) -- Chuck E. Cheese's investors are challenging a $1.3 billion deal that would see an Apollo Global Management LLC affiliate nab the mouse-mascoted restaurant chain's owner, contending in Kansas state court that CEC Entertainment Inc. could have landed a larger offer, according to a Tuesday statement.

Levi & Korsinsky LLP, who is representing the Kansas-based investors, said Tuesday the firm is investigating the CEC board of directors' alleged breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations in connection to the sale to New York-headquartered Apollo.
