Sacramento Arena Foes Sue Over Scrapped Referendum

Law360, New York (January 30, 2014, 5:43 PM EST) -- Days after having its petition efforts rejected by Sacramento officials, a group of activists looking to force a ballot vote on tax subsidies promised for a $447 million arena project asked a California state court on Wednesday to reverse that decision.
