NY Times, Others Blast Google For Hiding Scanning Docs

Law360, New York (February 20, 2014, 3:52 PM EST) -- A who's who of U.S. media outlets, including The New York Times Co. and Atlantic Media Inc., urged a California federal judge on Wednesday not to seal a cache of internal Google Inc. documents surrounding the company's surveillance of Gmail accounts, saying that the public's right of access trumps "nebulous" worries about revealing trade secrets.
