NYC Leaders Press For Higher Wage, Renters Tax Credit

Law360, New York (March 4, 2014, 12:21 PM EST) -- New York City legislative leaders said Tuesday the state should help them enact a slew of policy priorities, including a higher minimum wage for New York City, a tax credit for renters weighted toward those who make less money and the phaseout of an estimated $16 million annual tax break enjoyed by the Madison Square Garden Co.
