GM Asks NY Bankruptcy Court To Bar Ignition-Switch Claims

Law360, New York (April 22, 2014, 1:40 PM EDT) -- General Motors Co. on Monday asked a New York bankruptcy judge to bar claims related to a deadly ignition switch defect by enforcing the 2009 sale order allowing the automaker to exit Chapter 11, while a California district judge put related litigation on hold pending a decision from the bankruptcy court.
