Judge Koh Agrees To Hear DreamWorks Anti-Poaching Suit

Koh on Tuesday agreed to hear a California class action accusing Sony Pictures Animation, DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., Walt Disney Co. and others of conspiring to not poach each other's animators alongside the massive Google Inc. antitrust action she is already overseeing.

In an order granting a request to relate the two cases, Judge Koh, who is presiding over In re: High-Tech Employee Antitrust Litigation, agreed to hear ex-Sony technical editor Robert A. Nitsch Jr.'s suit after he argued last week that the cases share many of the same underlying facts.
