Judge Merges 'Moldy' LG Washing Machine Cases

Law360 (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered that a number of proposed class actions alleging LG Electronics USA Inc. failed to tell consumers that its front-loading washing machines are prone to developing mold and mildew be consolidated in a court in New Jersey, where the company's U.S. operations are based.
