Law360, New York (August 19, 2016, 7:50 PM EDT) -- The idea of legalizing sports betting has been gaining traction in recent years amid shifting attitudes and a widespread underground market, but the Third Circuit struck a blow to that momentum earlier this month by shooting down New Jersey’s attempt to allow it.
