Tech-Based Venues Pushing Rocket Dockets Aside

Law360 (February 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Patent plaintiffs seem to be of two minds when selecting a jurisdiction to bring a patent infringement case: some plaintiffs want speed above all else and file their cases in so-called rocket dockets (courts known to bring cases to speedy trial), whereas others want the home-court advantage of filing in their own technology-savvy local courts.
