Retailers Add State Claims To Webkinz Antitrust MDL

Law360 (March 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A putative class of small toy and novelty retailers has added claims under competition laws in six states to a consolidated antitrust suit against the supplier of the popular Webkinz toys, alleging that the company required retailers to buy unrelated gift items in order to obtain the specialty plush toys.
