SpaceX Can't Nix Firing Suit Ahead Of Closing Arguments

Law360, Los Angeles (June 5, 2017, 10:26 PM EDT) -- A California judge Monday denied SpaceX's bid on the eve of closing trial arguments to toss a worker's suit alleging he was fired after informing senior management that avionics techs were pressured to pass rocket-part tests, saying "there's just enough" evidence for a jury to decide.

Jason Blasdell, who worked as a SpaceX avionics technician from November 2010 to April 2014, alleges in his suit that although he received positive performance reviews, he was fired after he told company officials, including CEO Elon Musk, that technicians were being pressured to deviate from test procedures and sign off on the improper testing....
