Detainees Had Right To Sue Officials, ACLU Tells High Court

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 9:18 PM EST) -- The American Civil Liberties Union has argued to the U.S. Supreme Court that immigrants detained in the wake of 9/11 have a right to sue top officials in former President George W. Bush’s administration for civil rights violations, saying no other remedies are available.
