Ill. Developer Seeks $18M From Bankrupt Cinema's Owner

Law360 (November 18, 2020, 6:33 PM EST) -- The developer of a large commercial real estate space near the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field sued a bankrupt movie theater's Mexican parent company Tuesday in Illinois federal court for about $18 million, saying the cinema stopped paying rent and its owner has refused to cover the tab.
