By Kaitlin Ugolik ( October 8, 2014, 4:49 PM EDT) -- Manhattan's iconic Helmsley Building has been put up for sale and may go for more than $1.1 billion, Bloomberg reported. CBRE Group Inc. announced that it was marketing the 1.4-million-square-foot skyscraper near Grand Central Terminal. CBRE didn't mention an asking price or any bids it may have received thus far, but a source told Bloomberg that the trophy property could sell for at least $800 per square foot, which would value it at more than $1.1 billion. The building was reportedly valued at $635 per square foot in 2011, when Invesco Ltd. and South Korea's National Pension Service bought their stakes in the building....
