JV Wins Bid To Build New $1B Islanders Arena Complex

Law360, New York (December 20, 2017, 5:14 PM EST) -- A joint venture affiliated with a private equity and venture capital firm founded by New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon scored the winning bid for a $1 billion project to build the new home of the New York Islanders and a retail, hotel and entertainment complex, Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said on Wednesday.
