Deals Rumor Mill: Foxconn, Goldman Sachs, Airbnb

Ltd., better known as Foxconn Technology Group, is aiming to scoop up a chunk of Taiwan's China Network Systems Co. Ltd. from private equity firm MBK Partners, the Economic Daily reported Monday. Foxconn could shell out as much as $2.1 billion for the 60 percent China Network stake, which would help it compete with Chunghwa Telecom Co. Ltd., a major telecom player in Taiwan. Earlier this year, both Foxconn and Chunghwa won local 4G licenses, opening the door for the companies to dig deeper into the marketplace....
