NCAA Hoops Def. Takes Stand, Says Never Bribed Coaches

By Zachary Zagger (May 1, 2019, 10:33 PM EDT) -- A former sports agent runner charged with bribing assistant college basketball coaches took the stand Wednesday in his defense, testifying that while he has paid college basketball players, he never bribed any coaches, a plan he said was forced on him by undercover FBI agents and informants.

"I never paid a coach with the intent to influence or have him do anything for me," Christian Dawkins told jurors Wednesday.
