Ark. Intervenes In Wyeth Protonix Qui Tam Suits

Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 12:35 PM EDT) -- The state of Arkansas has become the 36th state to intervene in two consolidated whistleblower suits accusing Wyeth Inc. of overcharging state Medicaid programs hundreds of millions of dollars for the acid reflux treatment Protonix.

Judge Douglas P. Woodlock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts granted the unopposed motion Wednesday, allowing Arkansas to assert its own claims under its state law.
