China Dumping Aluminum Products, Commerce Rules

Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 3:18 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has preliminarily found that China is dumping aluminum extrusions and has suggested a duty of 59.31 percent on the products.

Commerce will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to begin taking bonds on imported Chinese aluminum extrusions, which are used in parts for cars, window frames and solar panels, the agency said in a statement Thursday announcing its findings.
