Airlines Take Issue With Lufthansa Settlement

Law360 (October 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The remaining defendants in the ongoing antitrust litigation over alleged price-fixing in the air cargo shipping service industry are fighting a magistrate judge's recommendations that they provide customer information for a settlement.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, airlines including Singapore Airlines Limited, Air Canada and British Airlines objected to a recommendation that they be involved in the notification of a German airline Lufthansa AG's settlement.
