NSO Gearing Up To Take WhatsApp Hack Fight To High Court

By Allison Grande (January 12, 2022, 10:20 PM EST) -- Israeli spyware maker NSO Group is aiming to take to the U.S. Supreme Court its challenge to a Ninth Circuit ruling that refused to grant it immunity for claims that it hacked into the phones of 1,400 WhatsApp users, according to a Wednesday filing that asked the appellate court to pause its decision while the appeal plays out.
