9th Circ. Tosses Claims In Loan Modification Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (August 5, 2016, 2:28 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday affirmed the dismissal of class action fraud and improper foreclosure claims against Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and other mortgage lenders and servicers, saying members of the putative class of borrowers failed to show that they had not been at fault for the foreclosures.
