But that victory may prove to be fleeting. In issuing a preliminary injunction, Judge Robert Lasnik, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, made several damaging findings and ultimately warned that its opinion should not be read as a "harbinger" of things to come. Future developments in the case may leave cities like Seattle well-equipped to tailor ordinances so that they do not run afoul of the law....
