Toshiba Says ATM Fee Ruling Dooms LCD Antitrust Claims
Toshiba Corp. became the latest electronics component maker Thursday to raise the Ninth Circuit's recent ATM fee antitrust litigation ruling to try to nix claims from companies that bought finished products incorporating allegedly price-fixed parts, arguing the plaintiffs don't have standing to seek damages.

AU Optronics Corp., LG Display America Inc. and Toshiba Corp. have agreed to hand over $571 million to indirect purchasers who claimed the companies fixed the prices of flat-screen panels, an attorney for the screen purchasers said Wednesday.
