States Object To Indirect Purchaser Deals In LCD MDL
The states of Illinois, Oregon and Washington told a California federal judge Friday that modifications are needed before a bid for approval of $538 million in settlements to end class action liquid crystal display price-fixing claims against Samsung Electronics Co. and others can be granted.

Samsung Electronics Co., Sharp Corp. and several other defendants recently agreed to pay $538 million to settle claims by a class of indirect purchasers and eight state attorneys general that they conspired to fix the prices of liquid crystal display panels.
