Trump has pledged to spend anywhere from half a trillion to a trillion dollars upgrading the nation’s aging roads, bridges and transportation hubs. To help ensure that money is spent free from corruption, I have a modest proposal. The incoming Trump administration should reopen at least two of the Antitrust Division’s shuttered field offices.
